Most people think that the "low carb" diet is something new, first promoted by Robert Atkins and now proliferates the internet as the latest fad to lose weight.  But they're wrong, Mr. Banting, over 150 years ago was one of the very first proponents in history to formally give this diet shape and precision.

Understanding that agriculture is only about 10,000 years old, the addition of grains, particularly wheat, is one of the most dangerous innovations in the history of man, and the beginning of all our health problems.

“A man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labour the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.”  (Ecclesiastes 8:15)
